Well well well. This video was intense for me. Quickly the synopsis is that of two journalists set out to explore sex trafficking in the US. They interview several females and go into detail with massage parlors, pimps, and what authority is doing about it all. The one part of the film on the fact that these ladies who are bullied, blackmailed and abused to begin this life are sent to prison where the pimps and “boyfriends” are left alone. What is wrong that picture? Second is if they get taken off the streets and sent to jail for a short amount of time, they get out and are supposed to do what? Most likely they get picked up again by a pimp. Why are there not facilities like the American Cross and any other homeless shelter for these women. Some begin in the business at the age of 12…13. They are CHILDREN and even if they are past the age of 18 or 21, they still may have not of had a choice, and age in this kind of profession should not matter.Look at the three ladies we have found recently, One was 21 years old and kidnapped and held hostage. These woman need a voice. These woman need help. Who is willing to stick up for them and bet there for them?
