Today is my Grandma Winnie Ruth Grizzard’s birthday. Or would of been. She would be celebrating her…83rd birthday? Maybe a year or two off. Today I want to tap into my Grandma Winnie’s spirit. I have decided to start my blog again as well as keep writing a few pages a day/week in my book. My book is about her, for her and to get to know her. It just so happens to be the anniversary of her birthday so I feel as though coming back on WordPress and talking about her is a great way to start. I feel her presence. She is guiding me today. She will keep me safe and give me courage to embark on this writing journey I want to take so badly. When I travel, I would like to think she is with me as well.
Today is an ordinary Friday here in Portland. The weather cannot make up it’s mind and all around me is stillness. Today is a day to be grateful for all the different color flowers that are making this grey day much more tolerable. My cat who cannot make up his mind if he wants in or out of the house, My very comfy couch that is mine and the perfect place for me to be right now. The great clients I get to see tonight at work and looking forward as always to what adventures I could possibly get into this weekend.
